Florida native R.J. Smith started playing guitar in 1987 and bass in 1991 and now adds harmonica, upright bass, piano & vocals to his list of instruments. In 2000 he opened for national touring acts including NonPoint, Oleander and Sugar Ray and he has played in local bands including forming and singing for rock reggae band "Relief Squad". In 2007 he moved to E. Tennessee and in 2009 he became a founding member of Acoustifried and helped compose their Debut album, "One Hitters". In 2015 RJ started playing as a solo artist and in 2018 he started playing piano at his live shows. Other musical interests include producing EDM and playing Gen-X Alt. Rock cover songs. Hobbies & interests include hiking, traveling, gardening, off-roading, camping & watching sunsets.
